 Harding in the spotlight at MSG
 
 
 
 
The Harding High School Dance and Step Teams will perform at Madison Square Garden on Sun., Aug., 19th during the pre-game show of the 4 p.m. NY Liberty WNBA game.
 
“This is a proud moment for the Harding High School community, which will be able to showcase the amazing talent that its students posses,” said Eddie Quiles, Program Coordinator. “This is a moment in time that will be captured in our minds forever; an opportunity of a lifetime to shine as bright as stars in the historic arena.”
 
Both the Dance and Step team each have 10 students. The Dance Team, instructed by Kimberly Pettway, has previously performed and competed. Accolades for the Dance Team include 1st place at the Carmel High School Dance competition, 1st place at the Waterbury Regional Dance/Drill Competition, 2nd place at Woodland High Dance Competition, and 2nd place at the East Haven High State of Connecticut Dance Championships.  Accolades for the Step Team, instructed by Teosha Callahan and Shaquana Shaw, include 1st place and top championship honors at the Fiesta Val competition and 2nd place at the Waterbury Regional Dance/Drill competition.
 
To order tickets, call Catisha Howard at 203-368-5320. Harding High School students, parents, teachers, and friends will receive a game ticket, hot dog, soda, and chips for $10. Also, in honor of Fan Appreciation Night the first 5,000 people will receive a NY Liberty t-shirt.
