  • It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2019 - 2020 school year. Geraldine W. Johnson School
    is a Pre-K - 8 school with approximately 800 students. It is a neighborhood school with a very
    diverse population. Our Johnson School mission states that we are to provide a quality education
    in a safe and welcoming environment where all students are challenged to reach their full potential.  
    Our staff and students live that to the fullest and know that it is our very purpose for being here.  

    I am inspired by this outstanding staff of educators with whom I share my days. They are smart, passionate and dedicated professionals who bring the very best of themselves to our community
    every day.  
     
    A strong home-school connection will help to make a positive and productive experience for our
    students. Open lines of communication are an important part of your child’s education. To ensure
    that we have a successful school year, it is important that students are in school every day and
    on time.
