 What time can students eat breakfast? Students may enter the school building at 8:45 a.m. when the doors open on the kindergarten side of the building. Children then report directly to our classroom where they will be served breakfast. Breakfast is served until 9:05 a.m.  

What are the school hours? The school day is 8:50am. - 3:10 p.m. with breakfast beginning at 8:50 pm. Students arriving after 9:00 a.m. must report to the office in order to receive a late pass - this pass must be given to the classroom teacher.

Do I need to send in a note if my child is absent? YES! Please send in a note explaining your child's absence(s) as we must have documentation for attendance purposes. If a doctor's note is available, please send it in as well.

Can I celebrate my child's birthday? YES! The children LOVE to celebrate their special days. Small cupcakes, cookies, and juice are the favorites!

When does my child have Physical Education? We have PE on Wednesday. Please have your child wear sneakers.

Will my child have homework? YES! Homework will be given Monday-Thursday.  At the beginning of the week, a Reading Log will be sent home.  It is to be completed each day and returned on Friday.  I will be keeping track of who returns the completed logs - a PBS ticket will be given to those students who return the logs on Friday.

  What is the dismissal policy? The children will be dismissed via the door outside of our classroom.  The children will wait in our classroom for an adult to pick them up.  Please let me know of changes in the person picking your child up.

What is the Tisdale uniform?  Students may wear tan or navy blue pants/skirts/skorts.  Shirts are to be light blue/navy blue/white/yellow.  Shirts are to have collars.  Students may wear sweaters in navy blue/white/yellow.  Sweaters can not have a hood attached and should be solid - no designs allowed.
