• Graduation

    Students and Parents,

    We are excited that the day is almost here!! We have 285 graduates, campus wide.  Congratulations to our graduates!

    In order to allow for a smooth transition we ask that once on campus you comply with the requests of teachers, security and officers. This might not have been the graduation we had anticipated for our children…but we hope it will be EVEN BETTER.

    Decorate your cars, honk your horns, and CELEBRATE your kids!

    Note, the weather is forecasted to be hot.  Please be sure to bring water and dress accordingly as we anticipate the line to be a bit long.  So you are not waiting in line too long, we have separated the arrival time by alphabet.  Guidelines below.


    Graduation Day Protocols:

    Valedictorians and Salutatorians and National Anthem Singer arrive at the Old Town Rd entrance by 12:30pm. Graduation Parade begins at 1:00pm. Event will be livestreamed on the Bridgeport Public Schools Streaming Events YouTube page, whic can be found by clicking here.

    Students with last names beginning with the letter A - E arrive at the Old Town Rd. Entrance by 12:45pm

    Students with the last name beginning with the letter F - O arrive at the Old Town Rd. Entrance by 1:30pm

    Students with the last name beginning with the letter P - Z arrive at the Old Town Rd Entrance by 2:15pm


    Stop #1

    Prior to admittance to the campus, a security guard/officer will check-in all graduates.  Any car that does not contain a FWC Graduate will not be permitted on the campus. Graduates: Please sit in the seat behind the driver for easy access out of the vehicle (remain in the car until you’re up to graduate)


    Stop #2

    Retrieve a flag (color denoted the color for your school- orange=IT, green=Bio, blue=Aero) and fly your flag as you drive up to the staging area so your principal can identify you as “theirs”

    Retrieve a card that contains your name, shirt size ordered, and car # and QR code

    Car will be identified with a number (we will have window markers)

    Card will also be given the number of your car

    Turn in your name card

    Retrieve your senior gift


    Stop #3

    Graduation Staging Area

    Drive to the staging area—flag being waved out the window

    Walk the red carpet to the diploma table

    Retrieve your diploma from the table

    High 5 Your Principal who will be standing behind you

    Turn to camera man/family for a photo



    Additional CDC Protocols:

    Masks need to be worn

    All students and families MUST remain in vehicles at all times (officers patrolling on foot will enforce)

    One car per graduate

    Only vehicles containing a graduate will be allowed on campus (officers will enforce)

    Campus gates open at 12:45pm

    Photographer will be present to take a photo of the graduate

    In order to allow for a smooth parade of cars, we ask that you comply with the request of campus security and officers
