ITS User Services
Provides assistance and support for all faculty, staff, and students.
Services include:
- Help Desk, Desktop Technology Support, and Classroom Technology Support
- Provides Technical support specialists for PC support, helpdesk support, and training support initiatives
- Handles customer problems that arise from the use of products or the services
- Trains staff to help customers use products properly
- Provides tools to onsite user support technicians for proactive and responsive services
- Reviews system operating requirements in alignment with budget planning
- Provides up-to-date system and process documentation and inventories
- Management of all related vendor support contracts for end user hardware and software
- Works with software and hardware vendors for problem resolution
- Ensures end user data is protected and recoverable
- Plans rollout of new PCs, laptops, and printers etc, in accordance with applicable replacement schedules as well as associated licensing
