    SCHOOL CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT
  • On days when school sessions are to be cancelled because of weather conditions, the announcement will be made from the following radio stations and tv stations:
      Radio- STAR 99.9FM, WICC-600AM, WEZN, WCUM 1450AM(Spanish), WEBE 108 FM, RADIO CUMBRE
    TV- Channel 3, channel 6, channel 8, and channel 12.
     
    This information should be available starting at 6:00am in the morning.
    Please DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL as we need to keep the phone lines open for emergency use. Should the weather forecast indicate the possibility of a storm, we urge you to make necessary arrangements for your child in the event the school system determines that an early dismissal is in the child's best interest.
     
     
    If there is 90 minute delay:

    Preschool A.M.                 9:10 A.M.-11:10 P.M.

    Preschool P.M.                  11:40 P.M.-2:00 P.M.

     

    If there is a 2 hour delay   

                        No Preschool A.M.                 .       

            Preschool P.M.                  11:40 P.M.- 2:00 P.M.      

     
     
    CANCELLATION OF AFTERNOON SESSION
    Announcements for the closing of schools will be made on the radio stations, beginning as early as 10:00 a.m.
     
    DISMISSAL TIME will be as followed:
    Skane Center 11:40
     Elementary Schools 1:20
    Middle Schools 12:45
    Pre-K no classes in the afternoon
     High Schools 12:27
    *The above times may vary in the event of an emergency.
