--Zoltan Kodaly (Music Education Philosopher) (1929)

Madison's Musical Mission K-6
The Madison School Music Program provides music education through classrrom, instrumental, and choral music, using researched and effective methods such as Conversational Solfege, Kodaly, Orff, and Music Learning Theory. Musical experiences of creating, performing, responding, and connecting encourage all students to utilize and expand their musical aptitude and thinking skills, strive for excellence, and develop self confidence through musical performance. This occurs in a purposeful, creative, and challenging musical environment that encourages students to reach and exceed their musical potential.
