    Our 360,000 square foot campus is comprised of three individual high schools, each with its own instructional theme. The uniqueness of our campus allows for each high school to be able to interact supportively with each other for project success. The curriculum for each high school is fundamentally rigorous but will continually evolve as new technologies are inserted to allow skill levels to be current with research and industry.

    Information Technology and Software Engineering High School
    Principal: Beth Furnari 

    In this STEM-based program, students will be engaged in the application of a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the design, development, operation and maintenance of software for careers in such fields as science modeling, gaming, animation, simulation and theater arts. Three pathway concentrations allow students to concentrate their studies in Media production, Software Technology and Hardware Technology

    Biotechnology Research and Zoological Science High School
    Principal: Michael Watson, Ed.D

    In this STEM-based program, science for research is with a partnership with Beardsley Zoo and local universities on the study of amphibians. Curriculum will be designed to heighten an awareness of the environment and to stimulate a passion to develop solutions for environmental preservation. Use of the school's natural settings will enhance laboratory and classroom instruction. Three pathway concentrations allow students to concentrate their studies in Pharmacology, Biotechnology and Zoological sciences.

    Aerospace & Hydrospace Engineering Science High School
    Principal: Jay Lipp

    In this STEM-based program, students will learn the practical application of science and math to solve problems. Learning to use software, interacting with regional industry and collaborating with state and local universities, students will research, design and develop creative solutions for exploration and discovery. Two pathway concentrations allow students to concentrate their studies in Aerospace Engineering or Hydrospace Engineering


    The curriculum for each high school is rigorous, challenging and the best in the state. Students should understand that our classes were developed with university professors to create a challenging project based learning methods involve nightly research and homework. Students are required to work in group settings of a variety of sizes to learn and research important subject matters. Business casual attire is expected to worn daily along with the required lab coat. In order to become the most well rounded student, Fairchild Wheeler also has required community service hours that each student much achieve prior to graduation.

    Applications for the 2020-2021 school year have been closed. Students who have been accepted will be notified mid-February.
