To Our Cesar A. Batalla Families and Community,
Our staff and administration are excited to see all of our students starting on Monday, August 29th! We wanted to be clear on our expectations and culture as barracuda’s we S.W.I.M – successful, welcoming, innovative, and motivated together. As part of our “welcoming” of the barracuda way students will be welcomed to school each day with a start time of 8:40 a.m.
- Arrival
- Bus – 8:40 a.m. in the bus loop
- Parents are not permitted to drop off in this lane
- Students will be directed by staff to grade level door
- Students are required to stay on school ground from 8:40 a.m. until dismissal
- Students who leave school ground must have school personnel approval
- Students are required to stay on school ground from 8:40 a.m. until dismissal
- Parent drop off & student walkers
- Parents are not permitted to park in staff parking lot or loop
- Park on Howard Avenue
- Signs are posted outside the grade level door
- Staff will welcome students at these doors
- Parents are not permitted to park in staff parking lot or loop
- All exterior doors will be closed by 9:00 a.m.
- Late arrivals must buzz in at the main entrance in order to promote safety and security

- Parents are not permitted in the bus loop after 2:30 p.m.
- Students must ride their assigned bus at all times

We are excited to welcome our students back for a successful school year. When students attend school on a regular basis, our amazing staff have the capability to motivate our students to create innovative projects and achieve academic, social, and emotional growth.
