    Welcome to the 8th Grade Team’s science classroom! My name is Mrs. Frances Morra and I will be your child’s science teacher this year. I am looking forward to being a part of your child’s educational experience and also to the many challenges and successes that await us this year. The classroom focus will be on topics related to Physical Science and will include performing scientific investigations. In addition, all students will be creating a science fair experiment for our annual Science Fair occurring in January! Science is very enjoyable to teach and becomes more exciting as we are in an age of great scientific advancement. The curricula is hands-on and also includes such skills as researching, reading and writing so your child will be coming home with a variety of assignments. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
