    Will Advance to State Finals March 9th, 9:30AM, at St. Joseph's University in West Hartford

    Congratulations to PCM 8th Grader Sean from Mr. Johnson's homeroom.  After an intense, 2-day competition in Ms. Amezquita's ELA class, he and 9 other spelling guru's faced off today in the school finals.  After 7 rounds, Sean won the school finals by coolly spelling the word "m-e-d-i-c-i-n-a-l."

    PCM Penny Harvest Once Again Rally's Our Community;

    Over $1000 raised to "Feed the People"

    Mr. Gorman was pleased to announce yesterday that this year's PCM Penny harvest raised $1007 to help our community members in need.  Organized and managed by sixth grade students, the Penny Harvest benefitted the Feed the People Food Pantry.  Mr. Gorman used the funds to purchase forty $25 Stop & Shop Gift Cards for our donation, which will be distributed to needy families this holiday season.  The homeroom which raised the most funds was Mrs. Sneed's homeroom in 208.  This 5th grade classroom raised $234 towards our cause.

    Congratulations PCM on once again doing what's best for those less fortunate, and thank you to Mr. Gorman and the sixth graders who's hard work made this act of kindess possible.  Go PCM!

    Team PCM Turbo Pandas again takes part in the Vicki Soto 5K

    For the 6th straight year, members of the Park City Magnet Faculty proudly took part in the Vicki Soto 5K, benefitting educational programs in our area.  The weather was unusually warm, but extremely windy, making for a tough course!

    PCM Faculty at the 2018 Vicki Soto 5K    Congratulations to Ms. Amezquita, pictured here thrilled she ran the entire course!    Ms. Ashman and Mrs. Alicea

    The Vicki Soto 5K is in honor of Miss Soto, who bravely gave her life protecting her students in the tragedy at Sandy Hook in December 2012.  Her legacy lives on through the Vicki Soto Memorial Fund, which funds a slew of programs benifitting students in our area.  This includes scholarships for prospective teachers and the Miss Soto Literacy Legacy.  100% of the proceeds from the Vicki Soto 5K go towards the Vicki Soto Memorial Fund.
