I am thrilled to be teaching third grade at Thomas Hooker, and to be part of such a warm and dynamic community. I consider myself very fortunate to be in this profession doing what I love. I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment, which encourages students to believe in themselves and to do their personal best.
Having grown up in a very rural part of Connecticut, I ventured off to Massachusetts to attend college, and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Elementary Education. After graduating, I returned to Connecticut to attend graduate school and obtained my Masters and Sixth Year Degree in School Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical Child Counseling.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, love running, working out, visiting family, and spending time with my husband.
